Hello, I’m Kayla
My work is rooted in a deep devotion to embodiment, healing, transformation and truth. It lives at the meeting point of somatic healing, nervous system alchemy, and non dual Śaiva–Śākta Tantra. This path has grown from a lifelong inquiry into how trauma contracts the inner world, and how strength, clarity, pleasure, and creative power can be reclaimed by working with the body–mind rather than on it or against it. Sensual experience, relationship with nature, ritual, and the living intelligence of the elements are also central to how this work unfolds and is transmitted.
Before coming to this deeply transformational path, I spent many years in corporate leadership as an account executive working with major global brands including Google, Microsoft, Sony, Mercedes-Benz, and Nike. While also mentoring Women in Tech and Communications. Those years offered an intimate understanding of high pressure environments, performance culture, and leadership dynamics, particularly the invisible costs carried by women navigating visibility, responsibility, and power. That lived insight continues to shape how I support those stepping into leadership, influence, and creative authority.
Yoga has been a steady thread in my life since my teenage years, offering an early doorway into embodied awareness, self inquiry, and the intelligence of breath and sensation. That long relationship with practice quietly laid the ground for what would later unfold.
In 2019, during a coast to coast road trip across Canada, something subtle yet unmistakable began to stir. Encountering the mountains for the first time, a deeper current moved through me. There was a quiet reorientation toward something larger, more intimate, and more alive. At the time, it was not named or understood, only felt as a shift in perception and belonging.
After living with trauma for several years, that initial stirring opened more fully during a Holotropic Breathwork Session in early 2023, into a profound awakening, an opening into and unravelling process. What emerged did not bypass the body or the human experience, but moved directly through them. Through the nervous system, sensation, emotion, memory, and lived reality. Walking this awakening path alongside deep trauma integration clarified something essential. Real transformation arises when consciousness, psyche, and body are met together with presence, safety, and compassion.
Following this awakening, I found myself called with clarity and discernment toward Classical Tantra. I am now a devoted initiate of the Trika lineage, and this living tradition continues to shape both my personal practice and the depth, precision, and integrity of what I offer and a transformational and abundant life.
From this understanding, my work naturally emerged. It weaves nervous system regulation and repair, embodied awareness and somatic alchemy, trauma sensitive Tantric philosophy and practice, cyclical and intuitive wisdom, ritual engagement, elemental attunement, and emotional processing rooted in attunement and care.
My training includes Executive Coaching, Holotropic Breathwork facilitation, Hatha, Yin, and trauma sensitive yoga, somatics and embodied inquiry, Dream Yoga, mindfulness and MBSR, Qi Gong, Yoga Nidra, Non Dual Tantra, and Psychedelic Informed Integration. The heart of what I offer is grounded not only in extensive training, but in lived experience. Moving from trauma and contraction into embodiment, expansion, creative flow, sensual presence, clarity, and awakened awareness.
At its core, this work supports those ready to move from collapse, imposter syndrome, fear, shame, and scarcity into grounded confidence, inner strength, and embodied sovereignty. The focus is on gently unravelling the patterns that keep us small or fragmented, so the innate intelligence and creative power of the embodied self can re emerge and lead.
What makes this work distinct is its synthesis. The precision of nervous system science, the compassion of trauma informed care, the depth of non dual Śaiva–Śākta Tantra, and the ancient wisdom of sensual, elemental, and ritual based embodied experience.
I offer a grounded, compassionate, and deeply attuned space. One where wounds are met with skill, and wholeness is invited to lead.
Transformation, as I believe, is not about becoming someone new. It is about remembering your original, unbroken essence, and learning to live from it with strength, tenderness, and truth.
I am Kayla, and within my spiritual community I also go by Ākāśa (ah-KAH-shuh), a name that reflects the spacious, intimate ground from which this work continues to unfold.
Welcome to Embodied Union.
